A boat in the water street
I will start by saying that this is a special post dedicated to my friends up here on chestnut’s 5th floor, therefore it shall be written in English for their better understanding (and to avoid google translate’s mistranslations).
Anyways, 2 weeks, me and some guys went canoeing (as you could probably already see in my Facebook pictures). It was an incredible experience. We CANOED all over toronto islands, and then stopped for a moment in a little beach to get a snapshot of Canada’s sunset. The view of this mighty and heart-filling city was overwhelming, that plus the fact that I was sharing this amazing experience with a bunch of people that I met only weeks ago but already feel like life partners. Jerry was part of this and we all think he should come back by December to partay!
On that same week we went to our first Frat party, the ALPHA KAPPA EPSILON. It was pretty awesome although not as unbelievable as those seen in the American pie movies, hollywood of course makes things extreme. Nevertheless there was an old house with centurial badges of those frat members fallen in wars, beer pong courts, flip the cup courts and a nintendo 64 (besides music and free booze). There was an upstairs floor that had that of a cheap hotel aspect, with a shared bathroom (meaning women and men had to go at the same time to the same place). I won 2 games in a row, and phyllis, even though she was missing all her shots (perhaps due to her lack of stability induced by the excessive intake of alcohol), against all odds and in the most astounding way got the last standing cup on the table, making us victors one more time, EPIC times for the 5th floor.
Last week we played our first improvised FOOTBALL (SOCCER) match, at kings circle, the sight of that gigantic patch of grass in the middle of this tiny yet enormous society called University of Toronto with its full 12 colleges is inspiring, even to play football. It was fun, and Tiring.
Rounding up we had many many parties since then and today, one of those was a theme ROMAN TOGA PARTY. Something we must all do some day; all you need is some sheets a belt and a smile upon your face (and booze OFCOURSE if you are 19 years old or more and you come from SASKATCHEWAN!!!!)
Although I have millions of other things to say and remember I’ll have to end here this post and start a new one right after I do. But this time in spanish, by then I hope you will all know how to say some other things besides HOLA,SI SEÑOR, UNO, DOS, TRES, QUE CARAJO AND HIJO DE PUTA.
Los quiero too much guys, you fill my life, mind and spirit of emotions and that makes me happy as never before.
PS: the english speaking world urgently needs a middle word between “I like you” and “I love you”. Let’s start imagining one: I LOKE YOU.
